I am so proud of my nephews! Both are in 4-H and recently took on the dreaded public speaking competitions. Though the youngest was not able to qualify because he is to young they allowed him to take part. He wrote his speech, practiced, said it with pride and in the end was told by the judges amazing job well done and forewarned the others that he would be a great contender for next years speeches.  As for the eldest of the two brothers, he is 10yrs old, he kicked some serious butt! Not only did this Junior win his club 4-H speeches but he went on to Districts and also won there. He is now headed to the next stage of competition, Regionals, and we wish him the best of luck! I so wish I could be there to see him standing up on that stage. This is one proud Auntie who knows all to well what the dreaded 4-H public speeches is all about! Go get em’ dude!!!
